High School Musical 3: Senior Year took the top spot for the second week in a row. While it may not have garnered the insane box office some expected, it is still an unrequited success. It will dominate the DVD market, as well, when released. Zack and Miri Make a Porno was hurt by Halloween falling on a Friday. The audience who would typically have seen the film on opening day had other things to do.
Saw V didn't drop as much as it could have, though the drop was still steep.
Changeling did extremely well, doing the best of any film in terms of receipts per theater. Could be an Oscar favorite, especially for Angelina Jolie.
The Haunting of Molly Hartley made more moeny than it should have, given its universally putrid reviews.
Beverly Hills Chihuahua is still the de facto family film out in the theaters. Its success has been surprising since it was released.
The Secret Life of Bees is on its way to a quiet exit from theaters.
Max Payne will also fade away, though I suspect that the studio can't be entirely unhappy with its box office.
Eagle Eye keeps making that climb to $100 million. It'll get close.
Pride and Glory rounds out the top ten with disappointing numbers.
