Michael Fassbender was born on 2 April 1977 in Heidelberg, Germany. His family relocated to Ireland where Michael grew up in Killarney, County Kerry and where his parents run the West End House Restaurant. Among Michael’s more prominent film roles includes playing Sgt. Christensen in Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg’s HBO miniseries, Band of Brothers. Most recently, Michael played the warrior Stelios in the blockbuster Spartan epic 300. Michael’s most notable television appearance is as the Nephilim leader Azazeal on the BBC series Hex. Michael has blue/green eyes, brown hair, stands 6 feet tall and has his own production outfit, Peanut Productions.

Azazeal is Michael Fassbender’s ominous character on the BBC show Hex. Azazeal is intent on keeping the forces of evil ahead of the good and has fathered a son with the human girl Cassie to ensure that his brethren are able to enter this realm.
