Tawny Cypress Biography: Tawny Cypress was born on August 8, 1976 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. She is part-Hungarian, part-German, part-African-American and part-Native American. Her acting career has been built on several television and stage performances. Her acting credits include small roles in the films, World Trade Center, Jonny Zeroand Autumn in New York, and appearances in television shows like Third Watch, All My Children and 100 Center Street. In 2006, Cypress landed her first major television role on the ABC hit series, Heroes. Ironically, Cypress is the younger sister of comic book artist, Toby Cypress. Simone Deveaux is portrayed by Tawny Cypress on the hit television series, Heroes. She is the beloved girlfriend of artist, Isaac Mendez, and is a successful art dealer in New York City. However, she has started to grow weary of Isaac's drug problem and insistent claims that he can see the future, and has begun to feel a growing affection for her father's hospice nurse, Peter Petrelli.
