Santiago Cabrera Biography: Santiago Cabrera was born on May 5, 1978 in Caracas, Venezuela. He spent most of his childhood moving from Toronto, London, Madrid and Romania, until his family decided to return to South America and finally settled down in Chile. At 15 years old, Cabrera was left to pursue his education in London, where he became the captain of his high school's soccer team. His drama teacher helped him to develop his talent in acting, and while he was he was training at the Drama Center, Cabrera performed in several productions, including The Madras House, A Month in the Country, Napoli Milionara, Brittanicus, The Dutch Courtesan and The Last Days of Don Juan. In his last year at the Drama Center, Cabrera landed his first set of television roles, appearing in the series Battles of Britain, Judge John Deed, Spooks and As If. After his graduation, he went on to perform on stage for a production of Shakespeare's Othello, and eventually made his American television debut on the show, Empire. Currently, he is working on his role on another American television series, Heroes. Isaac Mendez is played by Santiago Cabrera on the television series, Heroes. Isaac is a talented artist who is deeply in love with his girlfriend, Simone Deveaux. However, when he discovers that he has acquired the gift of premonition, he starts to alienate Simon with his erratic behavior and predictions of disaster, which he begins to show through his art. He is having a hard time embracing his power, and has begun to turn to his drug addiction for comfort and solace.
