Leonard Roberts Biography:
Born on November 17, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri, actor Leonard Roberts is a graduate of DePaul University Theater School, where he majored in acting. His popularity can be attributed to his sensational drumming skills in the film, Drumline, and for his portrayal of "Forrest Gates" on the fourth season of the horror series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Roberts other acting credits include appearing in episodes of

D.L. Hawkins is played by Leonard Roberts in the series, Heroes. Formerly a construction worker, D.L. decides to turn to a life of crime, completely driving away his wife, Niki and their son, Micah. He gets involved with a group of hoodlums, all of whom wear skull rings as a means of categorizing themselves. However, just before the group commits a two-million dollar robbery, killing a security guard in the process, D.L. ditches them and sets off to return to his family. Before he gets to Niki and Micah, he is arrested for the crime, and when he is brought to jail, he discovers that he has the power to go through solid objects.
