Eden's appearance is a cross with Matt, at first. He pulls her over for speeding. She is cocky from the get-go, flaunting the car as stolen, refusing to give Matt her license and registration, and doing nothing to conceal the partially consumed bottle of whisky in the passenger's seat. As Matt grows a little irritated with her, she begins to do her Jedi mind trick, commanding Matt to go eat a dozen donuts; like any good cop, he jumps at the opportunity, but he can't quite seem to understand why he is letting her go. Matt drives off and Eden turns her attention to the road. Quiet man is standing in front of her; it is very clear this is their first meeting. Naturally this leads them to Horn Rimmed Glasses man. Her powers are completely blocked by Quiet man as Horn Rimmed Glasses man sets about giving her a choice: do something with her powers that will make a difference, or go back to her life of debauchery and using people.
