Beginning of Volume Five: "Redemption."

Cut to Three Months Later:

Kent Harper, a former Building 26 agent, comes home at night and sees his apartment is flooding from a clogged sink. He steps into the water and walks through his kitchen, confused. The water collects in a large puddle, and rises up into a human form--Tracy. She looks at him, raises her hand and says, "You're number four."

Cut to Nathan, looking at a newspaper in his office with the headline: "Fourth mysterious drowning baffles authorities." He slams down the paper and appears to think. Angela walks in and says, "I haven't heard from you in weeks. I was beginning to worry."

He gets up and greets her, still sullen. "Sorry, I haven't felt like myself lately." She hugs him and reassures him that it's a great time for him. The world is his oyster. The famiy is back together. He gives a distracted, weak smile, and she asks if he can hear her.

He walks away to his cabinet, and looks at a clock. He grabs the clock and says, "It's just this clock. It's running a minute and a half fast." He fixes it and closes the case.

"So. Lunch?"

Angela stands in horror, looking at the clock.
