Hiro hires a group of private detectives to find out who the Speedster is, and they discover her name is Daphne Millbrook and she lives in Paris. Hiro and Ando teleport to her apartment and look at the master thief’s many prizes, including the Mona Lisa. While looking around, Hiro confesses that in the future, he saw Ando as a villain kill him. Ando refuses to accept it, thinking it was a robot or someone who could morph into Ando.

The two look around trying to think of a trap to get Daphne. Hiro calls her the Catwoman to his Batman. Ando has an odd look, possibly because that metaphor implies a sexual attraction or possibly because it makes him Robin. Daphne arrives and they agree to make a switch: the Formula for her racing medal. She agrees, but reneges on the deal by threatening to kill Ando. However, before she flees, Hiro places a tracking device on her.
