No such luck, because apparently even without his powers, Peter can survive falling several floors. Claire and Elle are there to save him. Claire escorts him away, but Elle, intrigued by the fact that Peter's powers were removed, goes in to Pinehearst.

How did these two come to Pinehearst? Elle went to Costa Verde to have a catfight with Claire. I'm siding with Elle, because Veronica Mars is smarter than me. Sadly, Claire's brother Lyle is smarter than the both of us, because he throws a bucket of water onto the electric Elle to stop her. Elle on the fritz admits she wanted to ask HRG about Pinehearst before accepting Daphne's offer. Claire, in a moment of Mohinder-level stupidity, thinks they should just go because maybe Pinehearst can help them.

Sandra Bennet, continuing her streak of awesomeness, doesn't think this is a good idea. They go anyway, and on the plane, we learn that those warnings about turning off all electrical equipment are there for a reason, because Elle's malfunctioning powers cause some turbulence. Claire absorbs all the spare electricity to stop a crash.

This brought them to Pinehearst, where the two new BFFs found Peter falling from the sky. How did Peter survive? His theory is that Sylar slowed him down before impact, saving his life. However, Arthur hints to Sylar that maybe he did it himself. Claire and Peter meet up with Nathan and Tracy, and it turns out Tracy is a consultant for Pinehearst, so she and Nathan go off to meet Arthur for themselves.
