Daphne, who failed to recruit Matt Parkman, is asked to kill the cop. Naturally, Maury, Matt's father, objects, which forces Arthur to kill him. First Adam, now Maury? At this rate, Arthur won't have any minions left to control. I'm one of the few fans who's been defending this season of
Heroes, but if the show keeps killing off my favorite characters, I'll have to join the mob.
She finds Matt, but can't kill him. Knox is sent after them and he kills Daphne, then punches a hole through Matt. I'd be furious if it weren't for the fact that it was obviously Parkman planting a hallucination in Knox's mind to make him think he killed them. Knox leaves, and the real Daphne is so happy she gives Matt a little kiss.
Also, it's now possible that Maury faked his own murder at the hands of Arthur to further motivate Daphne. I'm not sure what to believe anymore. One thing is for certain: Daphne calls Arthur to reveal that their secret plan to make Matt think she's in love with him is working.
Meanwhile, in Africa, Hiro is undergoing his training at the hands of African Isaac. This involves eating hyena poop. The unsavory concoction puts Hiro into a deep trance so I guess he gets to go on his own time traveling vision quest.
Speaking of time travel,
Heroes is off next week for the
Saturday Night Live presidential bash, but in two weeks, the show goes back to before the pilot so we can see even more origins. In other words, it will be three weeks before the plot moves forward.
