In Building 26, the Hunter bumps Parkman and Peter up to priority one, with orders to use deadly6 force. The two most wanted heroes are still in Mohinder’s loft when a message from Rebel pops up on the computer scream, giving a location for Daphne. Peter has doubts, but Parkman trusts Rebel, especially when they’re told to run because the government agents are coming for them.

They make their way to Washington D.C. , but because Building 26 is so big, Peter borrows Parkman’s power so they’ll have two guys using mind control instead of one. The only problem is it kind of blows the whole “fly away” escape plan. They make their way to the operations center to use the computers to find Daphne.

The Hunter, HRG and Nathan see them but are unable to shut down the computers because someone is hacking their system. OK, I’m officially on board the “Micah is the Rebel” bandwagon. The Hunter runs out to capture them, but all his guards have been manipulated to target the Hunter.

Peter discovers Daphne was moved, but Rebel hacks in and opens a file showing their initial arrest at the airport, so Peter decides to copy the files and use the fact that the government is rounding up citizens as leverage to get the location for Daphne.

The two try to escape, but Parkman stays behind so Peter can escape. HRG knows that while Parkman focuses his telepathic powers, he becomes overly sensitive, so a series of loud bells and sirens drives him mad until Parkman is captured.

Nathan goes to his mother to ask if she’s the Rebel helping Peter. She denies it, and Nathan gets a call from Peter offering a trade: the files he stole for Parkman and Daphne. Peter goes to the meeting with HRG, but it’s a set-up and at the last minute, HRG uses his mind to tell Peter that the Hunter is going to shoot him, but Peter is too stupid to listen so he gets shot in the shoulder and falls over the railing. However, all is good when a blur flies up and shoots into the sky.

It was Nathan, and he flies his little brother back to Angela. Nathan tries to convince Peter that he’s the good guy and that he will help him. Peter pretends to go along with it, but then he takes Nathan’s power and flies away again. Angela tells Nathan not to go after him because she knows what’s next. Later, the files are leaked to the news channels.

The Hunter takes Parkman in a van and decides to make sure the American people think he’s a terrorist so they will approve of hunting down the heroes. The Hunter strapes a bomb on Parkman and releases him on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Parkman stands up, dynamite strapped to his chest, just like in the paintings.
