Comic book geeks Seth Green and Breckin Meyer take a minute or two to fully understand what’s going on: two characters in one of their favorite comic books are in their store. Hiro buys all the back issues of 9th Wonders to get caught up on the story. He must not watch Heroes, because if he did, he’d know going into the past is never entertaining.

Hiro hides in the bathroom, not wanting to grow up. Seth Green delivers a disturbingly non-snarky speech to get Hiro to do the right thing. Then Breckin and Seth make cracks about how Hiro and Claire have never really met, since Kirby Plaza doesn’t count and the only other times their paths crossed was when Kaito gave HRG baby Claire. Only Breckin spies an Easter egg in one of the issues that shows Hiro and Claire together.

So Hiro teleports to the Bennet house right as Sylar is about to kill HRG. Hiro teleports Sylar and Elle away before coming back to save the cheerleader, so he teleports away with her. Hiro must be the nicest 10-year-old ever, because he teleports Sylar and Elle to a secluded beach where they can make sweet love while waves crash behind them. Well, that’s what they would do if Sylar hadn’t realized how bad he really is, so instead he slices open her head and steals her power. You bastard, you killed Elle! And it looks like this one might stick.

Hiro and Claire are teleported back to the moment when Kaito gave Claire to HRG 16 years ago, and she is obviously flustered. Oh good, more time traveling to the past. At least it means Masi Oka and Hayden Panettiere finally get to talk to each other on screen.
