Someone is leaving
Heroes and I'm not referring to Bryan Fuller. It's always tricky to report on character deaths and cast member departures on TV series, let alone on
Heroes. Viewers have already been (sort of) tricked last season when the show promised a death that would stick: Sylar (Zachary Quinto) slit Nathan's throat and now Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) is dead. While the show delivered its promise, the show made use to its typical twisted concept of death with yet another assurance that fans have not seen the last of Nathan.
Most recently, however,
Eonline.com's Kristin Dos Santos has revealed another
Heroes scoop: "We're increasingly certain that a beloved, original castmember is leaving
Heroes for good before the end of the coming season."
Care to guess who? Cast member Hayden Panettiere, who plays Claire, has already denied rumors that she's leaving the NBC series so I guess it's safe to say that she won't be going anytime soon.
"I love my job and I love where I am," she told
EW. "Heroes has been such a massive part of my life. I've been doing it for four years, and at times you get restless; I think anyone would in any job. But I love what I do. I love my job. I love my cast members. They're all my family. I don't pay attention to rumors like that. That's why they're called rumors. 'Cause they're rumors."
Meanwhile, rumors surrounding Ali Larter's exit have never been extinguished. Larter has been the subject of various blind items that would suggest that she wants out of her
Heroes contract due to lack of camera time while her character on
Heroes has been killed off and brought back to life several times. Still, nothing has really been confirmed yet so fans will just have to stay tuned when
Heroes returns in September.
