After seeing how Sylar (Zachary Quinto) haunted Matt's (Greg Grunberg) head
last week on Heroes, we move on to witness Sylar gradually manifesting himself in Nathan, who's struggling with his past in tonight's episode called "Acceptance."
Will Nathan finally uncover the truth? That's not likely to happen anytime soon, especially with Angela around to manipulate the situation. Still, Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) can't ignore the fact that he's been seeing things, particularly memories that aren't his and the whole thing is freaking him out. While he confides in Peter (Milo Ventimiglia), Angela (Cristine Rose) attempts to remedy Nathan's "memory loss" by helping him remember his past at the risk of his remembering too much. She also reasons that he just hasn't been himself lately. Of course he isn't!
Meanwhile, the rest of our heroes are still trying to assimilate back into their old lives. Tracy (Ali Larter) has seemingly put her revenge plot behind her as she goes back into politics and meets the governor in hopes of getting her old job back, which may prove to be a difficult task.
As for Peter, who recently faced the unexpected consequences of his heroic acts and met a reluctant new hero last week, we still don't know what the Carnival has in store for him but it's pretty clear that Samuel (Robert Knepper) has a few more tricks up his sleeve as he tries to do everything in his power to recapture memories of Joseph. This week, he's considering contacting HRG (Jack Coleman) after being convinced by (Dawn Olivieri) that he may be interested in them again.
Unfortunately for Hiro (Masi Oka), his life continues to hang in the balance --- a fact that he conceals by distracting himself with saving the lives of others.
Heroes airs tonight at 8pm on NBC.
