NBC.com is expanding the Heroes
universe by launching "Evolutions," a new section of the official website that's meant to bring fans even deeper into the complex mythology of the series. The realm of "Evolutions" includes interactive mysteries, games, puzzles, character websites, and new stories that will be exclusive to that area of NBC.com. Fans can also sign up to be notified of updates on the site, ensuring that they won't miss any of the exciting new content.
One of the coolest things that "Evolutions" contains are links to websites that relate to the series. You can visit the online worlds of Primatech Paper, the Yamagato Fellowship, The Corinthian Casino, and the Petrelli campaign, and you'll also find links to the blogs of Chandra Suresh and Hana Gitelman. These websites aren't updated very often, but they still contain a lot of fun content for fans who want to immerse themselves in the Heroes
Aside from the links, "Evolutions" also contains walkthroughs of all that has happened in the online Heroes
experience, as well as an interactive mystery entitled "Who Is Richard Drucker?" The set up for the mystery is that Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey
) discovered that Hana Gitelman has a mysterious uncle named Richard Drucker. It's up to fans to visit the aforementioned websites, watch videos, and scour message board posts to discover what Hana's long-lost relative is up to.
This definitely isn't something the casual Heroes
fan is going to get involved in, but if you're a true enthusiast, "Evolutions" is quite the handy resource. NBC has announced that they will be regularly updating the site while the series is on hiatus, so if you really need a Heroes
fix, this is the place to get it. Get started with the online adventure by visiting www.nbc.com/Heroes/evolutions
