Major Character death is becoming the in-thing these days with shows ranging from Vegas to, of course, LOST. Now you can add Heroes to the list of shows not afraid to give a lead the axe, or are they?
The character in question is, drum roll please, Peter. Yes Peter will die. No way, you say... why Peter? He's like the impetus for the shows every-man-gets-powers motif. Sure, we'd have Hiro as a backup, but the show just wouldn't be the same without Peter, right?
Well, relax my friends. Luckily for Peter, whose power is the ability to mimic the powers of others, he 'dies' in the presence of Claire whose power is self regeneration. The major character death is a bit of a ploy on NBC marketings side. Peter will die, but will resuscitate via Claire's specialness.
