Heroes: Arthur Petrelli is alive and in charge of Pinehearst Industries, some mysterious corporation of villains whose only goal seems to be getting their hands on the Formula. Linderman was revealed to be a figment of Maury Parkman’s imagination, Hiro stabbed Ando to get into the villain alliance, and Mohinder trapped Maya in a cocoon.
Back in the bar, Hiro teleports away before stabbing Ando so he can steal blood packets and a trick sword, then go back two hours to inform Ando of the upcoming fake stabbing. All goes well, and while Knox is happy that Hiro is now a villain, Daphne is quite angry.
She really isn't so bad, and her anger over Hiro murdering his best friend is a good sign that Daphne is well on her way to Hero status. I love Daphne, and I'm not saying that just because I
interviewed Brea Grant earlier today and she was awesome. Knox escorts Adam Monroe into Arthur Petrelli's chamber. Adam is downright terrified of the old man, and with good reason, Arthur grabs Adam's hand and drains his life force, causing Adam to turn to dust and giving Arthur new life. Adam is dead? Lame. At least Sark was always able to escape to fight another day.
Hiro's first mission as a villain is to find Parkkman's African guide, who Hiro hilariously calls "African Isaac." He and Ando teleport to Africa and Hiro tries to sneak up on a guy who can see the future. I love Hiro, but why is he suddenly a total moron this season? He sees a painting of himself getting hit on the head with a shovel, then he turns around and African Isaac hits him on the head with a shovel.
When he comes to, Ando suggests Hiro go back one minute before he got hit, hide behind a rock, and grab the man. Hiro does, but he notices a painting on the rock of African Isaac sneaking up behind him, which he does, hitting Hiro on the head with the shovel again! Hiro stays conscious just long enough to see himself get it on the head the first time. I've never laughed so hard while watching Heroes.
Daphne's first mission is to find Matt Parkman and bring him into Pinehearst. This is easier than she expected, since Parkman is looking for her because he knows they're married in the future. Daphne is a bit freaked out by her new stalker. She speeds away for task two: freeing Sylar. She drops off a business card and goes to the third recruit: Mohinder. She sees his lair of cocooned people (including the newly captured Tracy and Nathan), but Daphne isn't surprised.
