Heroes cast member Hayden Panettiere and hit musical group the Jonas Brothers will be among the presenters for The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards, which will be broadcast live on Sunday, January 11 at 8pm ET/PT on NBC.  They will join a long list of presenters, including Martin Scorcese, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, , Laurence Fishburne, Ricky Gervais, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jake Gyllenhaal, Glenn Close, Aaron Eckhart, Jake Gyllenhaal, Salma Hayek, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, Amy Poehler and Seth Rogen, among others.

The organizers of this year’s ceremony have opted for a mix of young Hollywood and entertainment legends and the enlisting of the Heroes actress, as well as music’s hottest trio, will surely up the star power at the Golden Globes.  Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas will have girls screaming while Panettiere is expected to amplify the energy with her share of fans.  It also wouldn’t hurt if she’ll be accompanied by her Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia, who happens to be her real-life boyfriend.

The much awaited event, produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, will be seen in more than 160 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements.

Steven Spielberg has already been confirmed as the recipient of this year’s Cecil B. DeMille Award from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for his “outstanding contribution to the entertainment field.”

Meanwhile, the Golden Globe Awards are just the start of a busy year for the Jonas Brothers.  Their 3-D movie is slated to hit theaters on February 27, while the accompanying soundtrack to the film arrives February 24.  The trio is also expected to make a “big scheduled” announcement on Monday, January 12, telling fans, “Please get ready to listen and participate in our first big effort of the new year.”
