IT'S DECISION TIME!

The winner of Hell's Kitchen 5...

They both do. Ramsay, you tricksy hobbit!

Ramsay leaves the teams with a cliffhanger. Everyone says goodbye to the brigades, and Paula and Danny head up to the dorms while Ramsay makes his tough decision. The other chefs discuss who could be the winner, and it's STILL a toss up.

Danny calls himself a culinary prodigy. Heh. Humble, aren't we?

Ramsay takes into consideration his observations in the kitchen tonight, the comment cards, and each chef's track record in Hell's Kitchen. Danny and Paula wait and wait and wait... and both are confident they will be the winner. Ramsay collects them for the final decision. He emphasizes how proud he is of both chefs: how much they've grown, how they've excelled, how they have stood out, how difficult his decision is. I certainly don't envy him!

Ramsay asks them to step up, for the real...

DECISION TIME!

The chef whose door opens will be the winner of Hell's Kitchen.

A huge crowd is gathered to see the announcement.

On the count of three, we will see the winner:

DANNY VELTRI IS THE WINNER!!! The youngest chef in Hell's Kitchen EVER!

Paula graciously congratulates Danny for his win, and recognizes that she has a very bright future ahead of her.

Seeing Danny in tears as he celebrates is touching. And he speaks about his late mother and how he wishes she could see him. Ramsay congratulates Danny, and says that he won because of how much he grew during his time in Hell's Kitchen.

The champagne is popped, the fireworks go off, and Danny meets the winners of season past, including Christina, as they put his picture on the Hell's Kitchen hall of fame with the four past winners.

Well, that's it folks. But not so fast!
