Danielle Nicolet was born November 24, 1973 in Ashtabula, Ohio although she moved to California when she was 8 to pursue acting and gymnastics. She first came to prominence in the mid `90s when she was cast on the ABC show, Family Matters. She also appeared in films like National Lampoon’s Loaded Weapon and The Jacksons: An American Dream. She also appeared on the hit comedy, 3rd Rock from the Sun as well as the sci-fi series, Stargate SG-1. She was named Breakout Star by Entertainment Weekly in 2005, for her starring role as Paula on UPN’s Second Time Around.

Nurse Mary Singletary, played by Danielle Nicolet on Heartland, is a sassy, sharp-witted nurse who won’t take flak from any of the doctors and staff of St. Jude Hospital. Despite her feisty countenance, she is an excellent nurse capable of running the ICU with efficiency while caring for its patients.
