The third season of Hawaii Five-0 is shaping up to be a family affair. Emmy winner Christine Lahti is joining the cast as Steve McGarrett's mom, and she's not to be messed with.

In this trailer for the upcoming season, the heat is on as McGarrett tries to keep his mom safe from Wo Fat. But maybe he's the one who needs protecting, because Mama McGarrett asks for a gun, and she looks like she knows how to use it.



Aside from Steve coming face-to-face with his mother, the mysterious Shellburne, the second season ended with another cliffhanger as Chin Ho found his wife shot while Kono was dumped into the ocean.

Hawaii Five-0 season 3 premieres Monday, September 24 at 10pm on CBS.
