Hawaii Five-0 season 3 continues on Monday, February 11 with an episode called “Kekoa.” Check out the preview and sneak peek videos below to see guest stars Summer Glau and Treat Williams.

First up, here’s the official synopsis of the episode from CBS:

Five-0 investigates the murder of a Lua (ancient Hawaiian hand-to-hand combat) master, and McGarrett hires a private investigator to follow his mother.  Christine Lahti returns as Doris McGarrett.  Treat Williams guest stars as a private investigator hired by McGarrett to follow his mother, and Summer Glau guest stars as the daughter of the Lua master who comes to Five-0 for help.

That sounds like one heck of a guest cast. With Gina Torres appearing on this week’s Castle with her former Firefly co-star, Nathan Fillion, it feels like a mini Firefly reunion on TV this week. Treat Williams sure is making the rounds these days. First he showed up as Neal’s dad on White Collar a couple weeks back, then he played Severide’s dad on Chicago Fire. It’s almost too bad he’s playing a private investigator in this episode, because I was looking forward to seeing whose dad he was going to turn out to be.

In the preview video for the episode, we find out that not only is Glau’s character’s dad a fighter, he was the best. But the kind of fighting he did wasn’t exactly on the up-and-up.

Here are a few more things we know from watching the preview:

  • Hawaii apparently has its own version of Fight Club.
  • The “ring” fighters do combat in is actually an empty swimming pool.
  • Summer Glau may get a chance to show off some of her River-like moves, since she’s going to get tossed into the fighting ring herself.

In the sneak peek clip from the episode, we find McGarrett going to visit an old friend from the Navy who is now a private eye. McGarrett goes to see Mick so he can hire him to trail his mother.

Here are a few more things we know from watching the preview:

  • I am going to have to find the name of the song they use in this scene because I immediately fell in love with it.
  • I want to move into Mick’s house.
  • The private sector is treating Mick very well.

What do you think now that you’ve see clips from this episode of Hawaii Five-0? What part of the story are you looking forward to seeing the most, Mick trailing McGarrett’s mother or Summer Glau’s character getting into an underground fighting match?

Hawaii Five-0 airs on Monday nights at 10pm on CBS.
