The CW has an ambitious new line-up with four new fall shows:
Hart of Dixie,
Ringer,
The Secret Circle and the reality series
H8R. They include a number of very familiar faces, from
The O.C.'s Rachel Bilson to
Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Sarah Michelle Gellar to
Life Unexpected stars Kristoffer Polaha and Britt Robertson.

Hart of DixieBased on these previews, this is my favorite show of the three. Rachel Bilson plays a New York doctor who moves to Alabama. I suppose it could easily be called
Southern Exposure, but the charm and whimsy from these clips reminds me of a cross between
Everwood and
Gilmore Girls, and Bilson looks delightful and terrific.
RingerEvery
Buffy fan has waited for a long time to see Sarah Michelle Gellar back on TV, and now she's here. This time she plays identical twins, but when one dies suddenly, the other, on the run from her old life, assumes her twin's identity. Based on these clips, it's going to take me a long time to get over the fact that she's not playing Buffy anymore, and if the series keeps using mirrors, I'm going to scream. We get it, they're twins, but that doesn't mean a mirror has to be in every single scene.
The Secret CircleA perfect companion to
The Vampire Diaries, this show about teenage witches has Kevin Williamson as an executive producer and comes from a series of books by L.J. Smith, just like
TVD. I suspect, like that show, this one may take some time to develop into something great, but with a cool, young cast (including
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles star Thomas Dekker) as well as awesome visual effects like backwards rain, it could easily become my new obsession.
H8RThis reality series hosted by Mario Lopez features celebrities confronting regular people who hate on them. The premiere features Snooki and Kim Kardashian, and if the rest of the encounters are anything like the Snooki clip, this show will be AWESOME!
Which of the three shows are you most excited to see?
