The CW has faith in Sarah Michelle Gellar. Her new show,
Ringer, received a full-season order from the network, meaning a lot more twin drama for Siobhan and Bridget.
UPDATE: The CW has also given full-season orders for its two other new dramas,
Hart of Dixie and
The Secret Circle.
Ringer is the first drama of the fall season to get a full season. The show premiered with 2.84 million viewers, but then quickly fell to under 2 million. The latest episode came in with 1.71 million viewers, which might not seem like much, but it's doing better than
Gossip Girl,
90210,
Nikita and
Hart of Dixie.
The Secret Circle premiered with over 3 million viewers and has leveled off at around 2 million viewers per episode. Hart of Dixie had a slower start with 1.88 million viewers, but has kept a large portion in the weeks following its launch, an impressive feat given its very competitive time slot against
Two and a Half Men,
Dancing with the Stars and
House.
Along with its five other dramas and
America's Next Top Model, plus
One Tree Hill returning at mid-season, the CW has a solid and consistent lineup for the rest of the season.
Hart of Dixie airs Mondays at 9pm,
Ringer airs Tuesdays at 9pm and
The Secret Circle airs Thursdays at 9pm.
