Miley Cyrus: Studying While On Tour

Miley Cyrus may have a lot on her plate these days with her Disney series Hannah Montana, her music and her 54-date North American Best of Both Worlds concert tour, which reflects the dual nature of the series' character, but this actress is still just a regular 15-year-old teenager who tries to maintain a normal life.

During her stint at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, which was part of her Best of Both Worlds concert last Saturday, Cyrus shared some details about her life on the road and what's it like to juggle so many things all at the same time.

For a celebrity who seems to have everything she could wish for, Cyrus still acknowledges the value of education, an attribute that makes her a role model for many young people.

“I just do normal things.  I still have school for three hours every day.  Then instead of soccer after school or cheerleading practice, I go do a concert,” Cyrus revealed.

“My teacher travels with me [during the Best of Both Worlds concert tour].  I love my teacher dearly, but, she expects a lot from me.  I didn't understand that at first, but now I'm really happy that she did. I'm supposed to be in the ninth grade but I'm doing 10th and 11th grade work. And I'm looking at things from all these colleges already,” she added.

In addition to her concert tour, Cyrus is also preoccupied with the upcoming Hannah Montana: The Movie, which is an adaptation of the Disney hit TV series.  Though shooting of the film hasn't officially started yet, ideas are now being generated, along with script for the movie, which will primarily center on the Stewart family's return to Tennessee.

In the mean time, Cyrus is enjoying her instantaneous stardom and the many rare opportunities that comes with it.

“It's crazy.  But I love never knowing what my next step is gonna be.  It's always fun to be surprised with something new [to do],” she said.
