Miley Cyrus Flies from 'Hannah Montana' to Batgirl?
Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus might have bagged the lead role in Wings, but rumor has it that she'll be donning a different pair of flyers sometime soon.  It's been reported that Warner Bros. executives are considering her for a role in the sequel to The Dark Knight.

Hollyscoop reveals that the 16-year-old Disney princess had already auditioned for the role of Batgirl.  An insider said that she "stunned" producers, impressing them by dressing up in a full batsuit.

That's certainly a huge leap for her, if she manages to seal the deal.  The source went on to discuss Miley's audition, saying "She was sort of hopping around the room and had even written some dialogue for herself.  The problem is, some people aren't really convinced Miley has the acting chops to pull it off."

Frankly, we think so too.  Miley Cyrus may be leaving her Hannah Montana past behind with more "grown-up" roles, but a foray into the Batman franchise doesn't seem to be appropriate.  Her mom and manager, Tish Cyrus, isn't exactly the type who'd be ecstatic at letting her daughter wear a batsuit to auditions.  Furthermore, it's really difficult to picture her right beside Christian Bale.  The Dark Knight, featuring Miley Cyrus - there is just something very wrong with the idea.

As for stunning the Warner Bros. producers, they were probably just shocked at her performance.  Who wouldn't be surprised to see this teen sensation hopping like a bunny and trying out for a movie such as this?

When asked to comment, the popstar's representatives kept mum about the news.  They haven't responded to requests for information, which is just as well.  Perhaps it's best to just keep the girl busy with filming The Last Song for now.  Again, the rumors are too far-fetched to be true, especially with Miley Cyrus' schedule packed with her other endeavors.
