Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus recently told her fans that she's stepping away from music and focusing on her movie career. However, that's after the release of this next CD. Cyrus announced news of another single and a matching music video this week.
Miley's The Last Song Spurned by Critics AHN reports that the 17-year-old actress is currently filming scenes for "I Can't Be Tamed." Word has it that Miley Cyrus is once again developing a darker image, hoping that the industry will take her seriously even more. That might be difficult seeing as how the video has her locked inside a giant bird cage.
Sources told
E! News that the
Hannah Montana sensation worked on the video for "I Can't Be Tamed" at Sony Studios in Culver City. She wasn't alone in the effort though; Liam Hemsworth was supportive all the way.
As for the video, it's been described as "edgy" and won't be released until May. A source close to the production admitted that it was amazing, and even compared it to a well-known Miley Cyrus song.
"Imagine 'Party in the USA' on steroids," the insider revealed. "It will blow people away."
Another bit of news that's mind-blowing is the fact that the teen starlet will be acting alongside industry veteran Demi Moore.
We reported the fact earlier this year, but the Hollywood A-lister didn't express praise for the Hannah Montana musician then.
Demi Moore told
MTV News about their new project called
LOL: Laughing Out Loud, a remake of a French film. "She plays my daughter," she said. "She's incredible." Miley was also described as "a true professional," which is really saying a lot.
And like a true pro, she's a busy one. After "I Can't Be Tamed" and several other endeavors, Miley Cyrus will be hosting Toronto's MuchMusic Video Awards this year.
The Gazette reports her saying, "I can't wait to get back to Canada and perform for all of my fans. It's going to be an awesome night!"
You can catch her performance on the said network on June 20 at 9pm. Before that though, don't forget to look out for that bird cage video. But if you can't, maybe you'll have to satisfy yourself with all the Miley Cyrus Twitter Doppelgangers hanging around.
Miley Condemns Twitter and the Internet AgainE! Online noted a sudden resurgence of fake Mileys on the Internet, when we're sure the
Hannah Montana star deleted her own Twitter account ages ago. Just like the real actress herself, it appears as though there's no stopping the copycats. They'll simply exist as long as she does.
