It’s hard to say what’s going on with
Miley Cyrus. A source close to the Disney star recently said that she was outgrowing her alter ego,
Hannah Montana. Cyrus herself was heard saying that some days, she just doesn’t feel like putting on the blonde wig. She is writing an autobiography through Disney Books that is said will pull her further away from the cute little pop princess that she is. In January, pictures of Cyrus in sexy poses hit the internet. A few months ago, she dyed her hair black and started showing off a more sophisticated look. Today, more pics hit the internet, further evidence that she certainly is growing up.

In the first, which can be seen on TMZ, Cyrus appears to be in a studio. She is wearing a white tank top and plays with her hair with one hand while pulling down her top to reveal her bra with the other. In the second picture, Cyrus lays in a bra and underwear across the lap of a male friend. Those his face cannot be seen, his hand rests on her thigh as she assumes a sexy pose for the camera. TMZ tried to contact Miley’s reps but, not surprisingly, they didn’t return phone calls or comment.
We have previously reported on Cyrus’s pictures that beg the question: Is she growing up too fasts? The BuddyTV readers have mostly come to her defense but here’s a point to ponder. I’ll agree with the readers that maybe she is just being a typical teenager. However, she’s also chosen to be a Disney icon and role model to children. Her demographic is children, ages 6-12, not teenagers and young adults. At least there are still some young actresses trying to set a good example and take their chosen position of role model seriously. Some good examples are:

Wizards of Waverly Place,
Raven-Symone of
That’s So Raven, and
Monique Coleman of
High School Musical. If Cyrus really is ready to grow up, maybe it’s time that the blonde wig is hung up for good.
