Where are
Miley's parents when they're most needed? When Miley posed for a Vanity Fair photo shoot earlier this year, neither Tish nor
Billy Ray Cyrus were anywhere to be found. Only the Disney star's manager chaperoned the shoot, but didn't step in when celebrity photographer Annie Liebovitz asked the 15 year old to take her clothes off. What resulted was a photo of Miley Cyrus, wrapped only in a blanket, in a very provocative photo. Miley apologized, Annie defended, and the media ate it up.
Besides the Vanity Fair pictorial, Miley has posted some sexy photos of her own, from kissing other girls to showing off her lingerie to crawling all over several different boys. While BuddyTV readers have defended her, saying that she's just been a teen, they might change their tune when they find out the new fan base Miley has picked up as a result of her new sexy image.

According to the National Ledger, the
Hannah Montana star has been receiving thousands of letters from prison inmates. In the letters, they not only confess their attraction or love for her, but also admit to having her photos up on the walls of their cell. "It's really creeping Miley out," a source close to the Cyrus family said. "Both her parents always prayed for her success but never imagined that it would come to this."
Billy Ray, in an interview last week with
The Today Show, tried to brush aside the Vanity Fair controversy, basically saying that it would all blow over. He didn't seem too upset by any of the photos of Miley that have made their around cyberspace in the last year, but I can't imagine he's okay with his daughter being the pinup girl of prisons everywhere.
For those who don't think Miley is too young to be showing skin, consider this. Dakota Fanning is only a few months younger. How many adult men out there wouldn't feel creeped out by seeing pictures of Dakota pulling down her bikini in a photo? There's something wrong when men are fantasizing about a 15 year old but, on the other hand, that 15 year old is attempting to portray herself as someone many years older. What will it take for someone to cover up Miley and get her to return to her squeaky clean Disney roots?
Should Miley's parents step in and control her?
