UPDATE: Since the first string of racy photographs of Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus in just her underwear surfaced in January 2008, the Disney star has continued to fend of similar leaks.  Recently, more provocative photos of the 15-year-old singer hit the Internet, and a new Vanity Fair cover shoot is also raising some eyebrows.

She was supposed to be the one your daughter could look up to.  In a world where Britney, Paris, and Lindsay once reigned supreme, a new crop of young stars have taken over Hollywood, good girls, if you will.  Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is among those girls, hailed by everyone from People magazine to US Weekly for being a positive influence on her young fans.  Yet, we can't forget that Miley is just a teenager and teenagers will find themselves in trouble sooner or later.  This week, racy photos of the star appeared on MySpace and after seeing them - I hate to admit it but - they're legit!

Photos were leaked of Miley this week onto MySpace after a sleepover at a friend's house.  Several pictures show the Disney star half naked and pouting at the camera.  In one, she's in a bikini in a pool.  In another, she's lifting up her t-shirt to show her stomach while wearing only underwear.  In yet another, she's rolled up her tank top just below her chest and lies on a bed in her underwear.  In one of her more provocative ones, she eats a Twizzler out of another girl's mouth. 

The 15-year-old now finds herself in a very precarious position.  There is no doubt that the pictures on the internet have caused her stress and at her concert this weekend, she had to leave the stage after becoming ill.  Saturday night, at a concert in New Orleans, she took a five minute break while her fans cheered and waited.  Upon returning, she said, "Thanks, you guys. I feel a lot better, but I'm going to sit this one down."  She also sang at the concert with her father and told the crowd that she was lucky he was in town when she needed him most.

One has to wonder what Billy Ray thinks of these photos and the attention Miley is getting in the media for it.  Expect no action taken by Disney.  They let Vanessa Hudgens stay on for High School Musical after pictures much, much worse made their way around the internet late last year.  Miley has said that the photos are nothing but innocent.
