Miley Cyrus raised some eyebrows this week after several media outlets printed pictures of the 15 year old in her underwear. Everyone from legitimate news sources like TVGuide to bloggers like JustJared told the tale of Miley's PG adventures at a friend's sleepover. Since the pics have come out, Miley has kept a low profile but did dismiss them as "innocent fun". The question starts to become: what is innocent? Is a 15 year old lying her in bed in her underwear up on the internet innocent? Would you want teenage boys and grown men looking at pictures of your daughter half naked? These questions got the BuddyTV readers talking and they weren't afraid to speak their mind.

BuddyTV readers voted in a poll, letting us know their true feelings about Miley's pictures. Surprisingly, only 19% of them found the pictures to be in poor taste. 41% of the readers had yet to see the pictures while 40% found the pictures to just be all in good fun. Skye2477 rushed to her Miley's defense, saying, "If this is the worst thing she's doing, then she can still stand proud as the most normal teenage pop star." Bluegins asked her fans to give her a break, saying that "nobody's perfect".
Most readers felt that putting up pictures of yourself in a bikini or underwear is very normal for girls Miley's age. All anyone has to do is go on MySpace or Facebook to find a vast array of teenage girls with barely any clothes on. HSM2girl08 gave up some family secrets, admitting: "My sister takes worse pictures than that!" JessNB wondered, "I just don't understand why people have to make a big ol' deal about it, seriously."
The general consensus among the readers was that Miley didn't mean any harm in taking the pictures and they weren't in poor taste but perhaps she should not have put them on the internet. Caljo06 makes a good point, saying, "In the land of nudie pics/scandals of teen icons, you'd think they'd be more protective of their cameras." How the pictures landed in the wrong hands and onto the internet remains a mystery.
Have you seen the pictures of Miley yet?
