'Hannah Montana': Miley Cyrus Addresses Scandalous Behavior and Perez Hilton Case
Pop star Miley Cyrus is dealing with the consequences of her actions these days, telling the public not to judge her too harshly. After that outrageous performance in London and her sudden venture into what she thinks is mature, the Hannah Montana actress had a lot to say in defense of herself. Especially now that she's gotten involved with another crazy controversy with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

Miley Cyrus Wants Fans to 'Get Over' Raunchy Kiss

Earlier this week, he posted a suspicious photo of the 17-year-old star on his Twitter page. It featured Miley Cyrus exiting a car in a white dress that was too short to cover certain parts of her. The paparazzi shot seemed to suggest that she wasn't wearing underwear at the time, but that isn't the case.

Still, Perez Hilton's in trouble for it, despite removing the offensive picture. According to People.com though, he might even face child-pornography charges because of what he did.

Meanwhile, E! Online talked to a number of top defense lawyers who believe that the situation is too far-fetched to merit legal action. "This one image of a 17-year-old, even if it were technically child porn, is not a very big child porn case," criminal defense attorney Christopher Leibig said.

As for the Hannah Montana star, she addressed the issue by calling into Ryan Seacrests KIIS-FM radio show when she found out. MTV News reports her saying: "Isn't it funny that things like that, that are so negative, have to come out right before my record? It's like no one can let positive things happen. All I do is focus on the positive, and I hope this record does well."

Speaking of which, we know that Miley Cyrus has been donning a new image to go with her music. From super-shorts to corsets, the Hannah Montana star stood up for her decisions and told the Associated Press: "I'm not trying to be 'slutty'. I'm not trying to be, like, go to the club and get a bunch of guys. What I'm trying to do is make a point with my record and look consistent, in the way my record sounds and the way I dress."

Trivia: How Much Do You Know About Hannah Montana?

It seems to be getting her plenty of attention though, despite the negative press she has to fend off. Still, she says it's all for the sake of her career. "I want people to buy my record because of my music."
