Hannah Montana is a television series on the Disney Channel set on modern day Malibu, California. The show focuses on the double life of Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) as an 8th grade student during day and a famous pop star, Hannah Montana, at night.
In the show Hannah Montana, Miley conceals her real identity from the public with help of her father and manager Robby (Miley Cyrus' real life father, Billy Ray Cyrus), brother 16-year-old brother Jackson (Jason Earles), and two best friends Lilly Truscott (Emily Osment) and Oliver Oken (Mitchel Musso). The series displays adolescent life issues, personal conflicts, with values and lessons learned by the end of each episode. Hannah Montana is produced by Steven Peterman, Michael Poryes and It's a Laugh Productions, Inc. It airs Saturdays 10:00 AM central on the Disney Channel.
