If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you can't please everyone. There will always be people who will try to put you down no matter how hard you try to please them. In the world of show business, however, detractors are more abundant and far more bold and vocal -- sometimes to a point that turns into an obsession. Enter H8R, The CW's new reality series that takes advantage of controversial personalities in Hollywood by uniting them with their most passionate haters.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Hosted by Mario Lopez, who is also currently the host of Extra and America's Best Dance Crew, H8R serves as an avenue for celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Jersey Shore star Snooki (you know those types) as they confront civilians who dislike them and attempt to convert them into fans, well sort of.
In the pilot episode of H8R season 1, Kim Kardashian and Snooki are presented with videos of people who hate them. After watching the videos, they ambush their "hater" and confront them, and even suggest some kind of activity they can both participate in. For Kim, it's painting and for Snooki, it's a nice Italian dinner with her hater's family. In a nutshell, these celebrities try to show another side of them that are not often seen on TV which will hopefully lead their detractors to have a change of heart. But is winning them over easier said than done? Check out the clip to find out:
season 1 premieres Wednesday, September 14 at 8/7c on The CW.
