Beth Chamberlin


Beth Chamberlin, who was born on October 1, 1963 in Danville, Vermont, studied ballet in the American Ballet Theater before moving on to New York University to become a dance and theater major. She then moved on to a number of regional theater performances such as those in The Taming of the Shrew, Godspell, Flowers for Algernon and You Can't Take It With You. Chamberlin also appeared on films such as The Right Way, Best Shots, and The Big Picture. Her television credits include Columbo, Silk Stalkings and Days of Our Lives. In 1989, she was cast to play a role that she is best known for, Beth Raines Spaulding on Guiding Light.

Beth Raines Spaulding is played by Beth Chamberlin on the soap opera, Guiding Light. Beth is the only daughter of Lilian Raines and her step father, Bradley Raines. She is the wife of Fredrick "Rick" Bauer and has a daughter and son with her former husband, Phillip Spaulding.
