This summer NBC is letting fans catch up on many of its returning shows
in a new and exciting way. Available on NBC.com
, the network's officiall
app and On Demand, NBC is offering full seasons of several of its shows
from now through September 23.
Freshman shows Grimm
and Up All Night
as well as family drama Parenthood
have their full seasons available. In addition, the network will roll out the full recent seasons of established shows like Parks and Recreation
, The Office
in chunks every two weeks.
This new way of exposing the network's shows on multiple platforms during the entire summer is a great way to get new fans for next season. If you missed out on any of the network's new shows, you now have all summer to catch up on the entire seasons however you want. You can watch one episode every day, or just devote and entire day to watching a whole season.
Along with NBC's expansive Olympics coverage and the very early start for many of its shows this fall, the network is clearly investing heavily in this summer to help re-establish as a force to be reckoned with. In recent years the network has slipped to fourth place, but by embracing multiple platforms and using the Olympics as a way of launching its new shows, NBC might be on its way back.(Image courtesy of NBC)
