Grimm season 2 may be off on hiatus for the winter, but the cast has found a way to make the long break a little easier for fans. Check out videos of the cast sharing their favorite holiday memories and wishing all of you very happy holidays.

I don't know about you folks, but right about now March 8 seems really, really far away. That's the date that Grimm will finally return to our TV screens for the rest of season 2, but I truly don't know if I can wait that long to find out what's going to happen next. So many questions were left unanswered at the end of the mid-season finale and I can't wait to see how they're going to answer them all.

In the meantime, Grimm isn't completely gone from our lives. The wonderful people behind the show put together a sweet video with the cast including, David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz and Claire Coffee. Check it out below to see their holiday greetings to the fans.

In the second video, Grimm star David Giuntoli shares his favorite holiday memory and I have to say, it was one of the cutest stories I've ever heard. His parents took him and little sister out to look at Christmas lights and when they got back, they had a wonderful surprise waiting for them at home. Through the windows, little David and his little sis could see Santa hopping around the living room and I got the biggest grin on my face when David described how he was "grinning from ear to over-sized ear."

The best part of the story may be the ending. Turns out that "Santa" was actually the drunk next-door neighbor that his parents asked to act as the jolly old elf. Now that's what I call an awesome Christmas memory.

Did you enjoy watching the holiday videos from the cast of Grimm? Did David's story make you think of your own favorite holiday memory like it did for me? Mine involves my entire family, including aunts, uncles and cousins, staying together in one house for a couple of days and all of the fun we had laughing, cooking, eating, opening presents and playing one very rowdy game of Pictionary.

Sound off in the comments below and let us know your favorite holiday memory!

Grimm season 2 continues with a brand new episode on Friday, March 8, 2013.
