In this week's episode of Grimm, Nick and Hank team-up to battle Wessen who start acting like they should be cast in The Walking Dead. Juliette is still struggling to remember Nick, while Monroe and Juliette try to take their relationship to the next level.
Nick and Hank are truly working as a team now thanks to Nick finally coming clean about being a Grimm. I have to say that I was very happy with the writers' decision to let Hank in on the secret. Nick keeping that information from everyone in his life was something that was only going to work for so long and it was about time that Hank knew what was what.
Wessen are falling ill with a sickness called the "yellow plague," which causes its victims to break out in sores and act very zombie-like. Nick and Hank have to clean up the mess and Wu helps them out as always and does what he does best in situations like these -- catches the bad guys (or in this case a bad girl) while delivering some awesome one-liners. Personally, I think it would be great if Wu were kept in the dark about the Grimm/Wessen thing forever. He's much more fun as the innocent guy on the team.
While Nick and Hank are looking for infected Wessen, Juliette is still struggling to remember Nick. She calls up Monroe and even goes so far as to invite Bud over to try and get information about her relationship with Nick. Bud very nearly gave everything away when he mentioned that Nick was a Grimm but was wise enough to backpedal when he saw that she had no idea what he was talking about.
In their own little peaceful world, Monroe and Rosalee decide to go out for a picnic. Nothing is never that easy though, and of course their idyllic day is interrupted when a sick Wessen drops by and infects Rosalee. At that point, it's a bit of a race as Monroe tries to create the antidote to the virus by himself, while helping Hank hold down the other Wessen and Nick is off chasing after an escaped Rosalee. Of course it all happens just in the nick of time and everything is back to normal. Well, as normal as their lives get anyway.
Other than Juliette's memory (which I think will be missing for quite a while longer), the only other loose end left at the end of this episode is yet another problem for Renard. Seems like every time he fixes one problem that the Family throws at him, they come up with something new. Still looking for the key, they send a Nuckelavee after Nick. Despite Renard's efforts to dispatch the thing, it still ends up in Portland and is now tracking Nick and Hank. There's no way that's going to end well.
