's season 2 fall finale, called "Season of the Hexenbiest" airs on Friday, November 16 and judging by how many preview videos NBC has released, it looks like this is going to be one heck of an exciting episode.
The first video shows a brief clip from the episode where we get to see what happens after Monroe catches Renard and Juliette red-handed (or in this case red-lipped) in a passionate kiss. What happens is that Juliette runs away, Renard runs after her and poor Monroe is left without any idea what to do with himself. Monroe will of course tell Nick, which is bad news for them but it looks like for now that Renard's secret of who he is will be safe.
The next clip shows Adalind and Renard and from the video it seems pretty obvious that Adalind knows what her potion did to Renard and Juliette. The question now is: did she do it on purpose to further mess up Nick's life and Renard's as well? I mean to her that would be pretty much like killing two birds with one stone, wouldn't it? And as for the 48-hour deadline she gives Renard, I have no idea what he's going to do there. Sounds like he's going to have a very interesting time in this episode.
Next up is an interview with David Giuntoli, where he talks about the implications that everything will have on Nick. So far, Nick hasn't had the best year, but when Giuntoli mentions that Nick is heading to his darkest place yet, it makes me worried for our favorite Grimm. I have to wonder just how far down Nick is going to go once he gets a few more bad things heaped on his plate.
After that, there is an interview with Sasha Roiz, who talks about what we can expect with Renard in this episode. I know it probably won't compare to Nick's day, but it does sound like Renard's going to have a pretty rough go of it in this one, too. I'm worried that he's going to have to do a few things that he doesn't want to do, especially with the task he's given by Adalind and his brother. Will we finally see Renard come face to face with Nick and will Nick finally find out who his captain really is?
Next up is an interview with Silas Weir Mitchell, talking about the extremely awkward moment when Monroe stumbles across Juliette and Renard kissing. I bet that's pretty much the last thing he expected (or wanted) to see right then and I know it's not going to be fun for him when he was to tell Nick what he saw. Mitchell does hint at some good news though, which is the fact that Rosalee appears to be coming back soon.
Finally, we have an interview from Russell Hornsby, who talks about what will happen to Hank in this episode. Boy, no one is having any luck in this fall finale are they? On top of everything else, poor Hank is going to end up beaten up in the hospital thanks to Adalind. Also, it looks like we're going to get a glimpse into Hank's home life, which sounds very sad. I wonder if it will Nick see this part of Hank's life as well, and if so, will he realize that he could be going that direction himself if he can't resolve things with Juliette?
Overall it sounds like tomorrow's fall finale of Grimm is going to be tense for pretty much every single character. What did you think of watching all of the videos? Do you think you have an idea of where everything is going to end up? What kind of cliffhanger do you think they will leave us with until winter?
Grimm airs on Friday nights at 9pm on NBC.
