TVSquad has a good look at last night's run-of-the-mill episode of
Grey's Anatomy. A lot of action takes place and, as the TVSquad recapper points out, there is a lot of overt symbolism.
Izzie is back, but must only look and not touch (or speak, for that matter). Adding to that frustration, Izzie has to now shadow
Meredith. It doesn't take Izzy long to break her code of silence, but we all knew that was going to happpen.
The crazy case of the episode concerned a woman with two uteruses who was about to have twins that had two different due dates.
George thought this was really cool.
Preston continues to be afflicted by his hand tremor and
Cristina continues to pull some strings in order to act as his hands.

- I've had enough of the George and Callie relationship. I like both characters, but them together does nothing for me. I think Callie should just act as the hospital tramp and George should just be, well, George.

The Grey's Anatomy promos this week teased us with the sight of Derek in his bedroom with another woman. Turns out that its his sister. I like the plot twist, but why would ABC need to promote Grey's in this shock-value kind of way? It's already the number one show in the universe. (However, I did like Derek's sister showing up and, especially, her relationship with Sloan.)
Grey's Anatomy, no matter how hard I fight, always sucks me in. It's the equivalent of chick flick, once you really break it down, but it's just so well-written and has such a great ensemble cast that
Grey's is impossible to miss come Thursday.
