Grey's Anatomy Gets the Tears Flowing with a Trip down Memory Lane>>>
On the heels of Meredith's big Harper Avery win, Grey Sloan is in chaos as a hacker gets into the hospital's computer system. Monitors, phones, labs and patient files are compromised, forcing the doctors to think out of the box as they attempt to save their patients while Bailey holds the fort.
"When Bill pitched me the hacking [story] I said, 'Don't we usually do some great big giant storm or something?'" Vernoff told TV Line
of the William Harper-penned episode. "And he said, 'This is a great big giant storm. When people hack hospitals it is a life and death storm.' It's incredible what he's done. It's completely different tonally from last week's [nostalgia-filled 300th episode]."
Check out the promo for "Out of Nowhere":
Even cast member Kevin McKidd, who directed the episode "Out of Nowhere," describes the installment as "kind of like Speed [without] the bus," adding, "It's a moving freight train, and then it hits this point at the end of the episode where you're like, 'What's going to happen?' It really is a classic and beautifully done cliffhanger episode."
