They begin the surgery and remove all of the girl's organs. Just don't give any of them to Meredith because she'd probably drop them on the floor. Surprise, surprise, the surgery is not going well, with Hahn unhelpfully delivering a constant stream of snarky commentary (but only because she was scorned by Callie this morning, you remember.) Bailey bitches at her until a big bickering match begins between them. Richard snaps them all out of it and they begin planning together. Um, shouldn't they have done all the planning before they emptied out this girl's abdomen? Anyway, Bailey comes up with a plan and it works.

Major McHottie spends the day berating Izzie for not wanting to work on animals. She actually stands up for herself and tells him that with today's technology, there isn't any reason to torture animals.

Mark and Derek yell at Major McHottie for almost maiming the trauma patient. Major McHottie asks them to teach him what the triage protocol is at Seattle Grace since he is new.

Cristina babysits her interns and the pigs. The interns have given them cutesy names like Wilbur and Babe. Unfortunately for Wilbur, his heart stops working, so Cristina decides to open him up. She eventually saves him and all the rest of the pigs. After Major McHottie congratulates them on a job well done, he says to kill them all and then write up their notes. Cristina refuses to kill them after spending all day saving their lives, but Major McHottie says that it wouldn't be humane to keep them alive because they would be in a lot of pain in recovery. She also asks him why he forgot her name and he makes excuses about the traumas of war. She eventually caves and gives the pigs lethal injections.
