Callie frets about having made Hahn cry (in a good way) about their same-sex sex. She decides to have sex with Mark – twice – to test out whether sex is better with a man than with a woman. She decides that they both are good, which doesn't help her decide whether she is a lesbian or not. Mark reminds her that she is technically cheating on Hahn with him. So she actually does the mature thing and confesses to Hahn that she slept with Mark Sloan twice, and that she may never have the epiphany that Hahn had about being gay. Later, Callie "breaks up" with Mark, but she still wants to hang out and be friends with him.

At the end of a long day, George comes home to find that Lexie has made him a dinner of mac and cheese. It's a peace offering for getting too emotional when George didn't ask for her to be one of his interns from last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy.

Alex comes home to make amends with Izzie. He confesses that he's not good with relationship stuff and talking about feelings and all that, and he needs lessons. Izzie realizes that by asking if it was OK if he screwed the peds chick, he really wanted to tell her that he wants to go steady with her. They cutely decide to go steady.

Meredith and Derek open one more box at home, and it is full to the brim of more old diaries that Ellis kept. That is to say, Meredith's journey toward good mental health is far from complete.
