Erica Hahn was a recurring character throughout the first few seasons of
Grey’s Anatomy. She is a rival of former Seattle Grace employee Dr. Preston Burke, as the two are both in the field of cardiothoracic surgery. They attended school together at Johns Hopkins Medical School but since they were not friends, not much was ever revealed about her via Preston. Not that he ever revealed much about anything anyway. In this week’s episode, Addison returns to Seattle and finds that Callie and Hahn have become great friends. She even asks Callie if the two are dating. Callie tries to laugh it off but it’s got
Grey’s fans wondering…

Omg ! Erica and Christina ? Really? Whoever thonght of that, I must admit it...its so damn brilliant! LOL.....
Let’s examine the facts. Hahn is in her late 30s, currently single, and never married, to the best of our knowledge. She is the only known female at Seattle Grace to have turned down Mark Sloan, besides Meredith. Lately, she and Callie seem to be practically inseparable, alienating themselves from other people. When Cristina found them hanging out in her apartment, they ceased all conversation until she left the room. Of course, that could just be Erica’s disdain for Cristina but I choose to read more into it.
It might only be farfetched because Callie was married to George and therefore, presumably heterosexual. I don’t want
Grey’s throwing around a “Callie went through a lesbian phase in college” storyline or “Callie is scorned by men and has turned to women” storyline. I don’t mind a lesbian storyline, in fact, I welcome it. Television needs more diversity, more realistic relationships. I’ll only get on board if the two are going to be legit lesbians, and not an Anne Heche lesbian. Here’s hoping Hahn plays for the other team. It’ll make for some seriously interesting episodes. Wait til Sloan finds out!
Do you think Erica Hahn is a lesbian?
