Can any woman match up with the fiery and intense Cristina Yang? Well, how about toughie Audrey Raines from 24? Kim Raver is set to drop by the November 12 episode of Grey's Anatomy and it won't be good news to the happy couple Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Yang (Sandra Oh).
Raver's character Teddy Atlman is also an Iraqi War veteran, and she is hired by Owen as the new cardiothoracic surgeon, and right away, Cristina questions her abilities in the OR plus the nature of their relationships. By the way, this is also the same Grey's Anatomy episode where Izzie (Katherine Heigl) makes her return.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
As for Raver, 40, she admits that she indeed will cause trouble for the happy couple of Seattle Grace. "She was in Iraq with Owen. She's a cardiac surgeon. She's really good at what she does. There'll be some interesting stuff between Teddy, Cristina [Yang] and Owen," she said.
"There's definitely a hint of a triangle," she summed up.
How long will she stay on Seattle Grace to stir up the relationship of Yang and Owen? She's still not sure, but lest we forget, it's a similar situation when he joined 24.
"I'm recurring, but I don't know the [exact] length. It's interesting because Teddy is in the same situation. It creates an exciting dynamic because it forces me to be very present and enjoy playing this really great character.
