When watching a show like
Grey's Anatomy, it's hard to believe that so many beautiful people can work in one hospital. There's Meredith, McDreamy, Alex, Izzie, McSteamy, and Lexie. What about Cristina Yang? According to Maxim magazine, she's not hot. So much so, in fact, that they've ranked the actress who plays her,
Sandra Oh, on their Unsexeist Women Alive list. After Esquire magazine recently named Charlize Theron the Sexiest Woman Alive, Maxim decided to take a stand and go in the opposite direction, exploring the five women who apparently, no one finds attractive.

Sarah Jessica Parker received the top spot, followed by singer Amy Winehouse. Sarah Oh ranked third with Madonna and Britney Spears below her. Regarding the reason Oh made the list, Maxim had this to say: "The only thing worse than a show about doctors is a show about sappy chick doctors we're forced to watch or else our girlfriends won't have sex with us. We're holding Dr. McSkinny, with her cold bedside manner and boyish figure, personally responsible."
Parker made the list for being “least sexy woman in a group of very unsexy women.” Winehouse earned the distinction for her pale skin and ratty hair. Madonna was called out for "self-righteous bellyaching and rapid postnuptial deterioration". There certainly were many reasons to choose from for Britney's appearance on the list. Maxim chose to call her out on everything from her weight gain to her trashy husbands and her inability to perform anymore.
Maxim's main reason for putting Sandra Oh on the list is for her portrayal of Dr. Cristina Yang on
Grey's Anatomy. However, Dr. Yang has no interest in getting ahead based on her looks. She is a hard worker who wants to earn her way up the ladder because she's the best and not for any other reason. As long as you didn't name her among the five worst surgeons, I doubt Dr. Yang is too interested in what anybody thinks of her appearance, with perhaps the exceptions of Burke and Marlowe!
