ABC has been kind enough to throw us a few details regarding April 26th’s all new episode of
Grey’s Anatomy ‘Desire’. So far, without digging into the bigger spoilers, it seems like
Grey’s Anatomy is giving us a little respite time before lunging into what is predicted to be an emotional spiral towards this season’s finale. If you are hungry for more info of a ‘spoiler’ variety, feel free to join me on the other side of this link.

What ABC Says: As the interns of Seattle Grace cram for their upcoming exam, the attending’s vie for the Chief's position by tending to the chairman of the hospital board after he is admitted as a patient. Meanwhile, Burke struggles to involve Cristina in the wedding planning, things heat up between Addison and Alex, and Derek questions his relationship with Meredith.
What I say: When does Derek not question his relationship with Meredith; other than when she is suspended in a hypothermic-death coma? Can things really get any hotter between Addison and Alex? Perhaps a better question is, since we already know Addison is a lame duck should we invest much in that relationship? It’s sort of like watching a plane crash.
The interns note should be of great interest to us, particularly since the Gray’s Anatomy spin off is going to leave an Addison shaped hole in the series. Are we going to see one or two characters come to the front from this segment?
The critical role of the chairman will be played by X-Files alum Mitch Pileggi. Who recently co-starred on Day Break, which starred Taye Diggs, who is going on to co-star in the Grey’s Anatomy spin off. Phew. That is how many degrees of separation?
After ‘Desire’ comes the much anticipated, super duper, still untitled two-part finale/spin-off pilot, which will air May 3rd, and May 10th.
