After a one-week break, Grey's Anatomy returns tonight and - guess what - Derek (Patrick Dempsey) is interim chief. Will things be dreamy on Seattle Grace? Of course not.

Already, he feels the brunt of leadership, as he faces a potential lawsuit after a patient of Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) awakens from anesthesia in the middle of surgery.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

So it's safe to assume that Derek hasn't mastered the booming, histrionic I'm-chief-of-surgery! voice. On his speech, he says he intends to bring Seattle Grace back to its "former glory." Way to inspire the troops, Derek!

Elsewhere on "State of Love and Trust" Teddy (Kim Raver) refuses to place Cristina on her service, and Alex (Justin Chambers) tries his hand in Peds. Finally, Mark (Eric Dane) refuses to talk to a heartbroken Lexie (Chyler Leigh), as Derek tries to convince Richard (James Pickens, Jr.) to seek treatment for his alcoholism.
