While watching one clip from the new Grey's Anatomy episode "I Always Feel Like Somebody's Watchin' Me" I stopped and thought, "Am I watching Fringe?" A woman is wheeled in to Seattle Grace with her paranoid schizophrenic son who claims that aliens have impregnated her mother. And true enough, when Bailey (Chandra Wilson) checks her, there is a pulsating mass on her abdomen. Yikes.
You should also watch out for a very funny bear impression from the most unlikely person.
Elsewhere, judging from the photos, there will be a baseball game on the next ep. Yes, you read it right a baseball game. According to ABC, the residents and interns of Seattle Grace compete to survive the budget cuts. Compete. Does that include a baseball match?
But the woman of the hour is Izzie (Katherine Heigl), who is sporting a wig (because she always wanted to try being a redhead) and perhaps a few pounds heavier. She's back - like she doesn't have cancer and almost died. "She looks like a Stepford wife," Cristina whispers to Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) while they try to smile for Izzie.
In one clip, Sloan (Eric Dane) reveals he's not too worried about the merger with Mercy West even while the Chief (James Pickens), just after announcing it, shuts himself in his office the whole day and refuses to talk to anybody. "It's just a financial restructuring," he says. Apparently, however, everyone's a little frazzled over the announcement, and Lexie (Chyler Leigh), who's usually calm and collected, is running all over the place dropping bags of blood.
The merger won't start until episode 5, when the residents of Seattle Grace and Mercy West start vying for surgeries on day one.
