TVSquad has an in-depth look at exactly what transpired during last night's episode of
Grey's Anatomy, but I'd like to focus on a couple of main things.
Grey's Anatomy has been running on a nice little wave thus far into its third season, with no below average episodes to speak of. They've all been relatively consistent, my only complaint being that they aren't moving some of the story lines along quick enough.
However, last night they did some things to turn that trend around. The mourning of Denny, the necessary but boring subplot that wouldn't stop, has finally ended. We have the real, not completely depressed, version of
Izzie back. Which is a good thing.
By having the real Izzie back, we get some good interactions between her and
Karev for the first time in a while. I've always enjoyed those two together and I'm sure we'll see a lot more of it as we go forward.
Something else worth discussing is this: Is this the episode that had the
off-screen fight between
Patrick Dempsey and
Isaiah Washington? It had to be, considering all the interaction between
George and Burke. I wonder what the real story is behind all of that. Is Isaiah a crazy person?
Anyway, another solid episode of
Grey's. Next week's Thanksgiving episode should be fun. There's usually nothing to watch after football on Thanksgiving.
